Hi all

Just wondering what part of the country/world we are all from?

Sorry if this has already been done before.

To kick of with then.

I was born & bred in Croydon South London, and then moved over to Germany 10 years ago.

All the best

Tony

My mother was evacuated to St. Albans, 1943, when expecting me and returned to Walworth S. London a month or so after I was born.

Lived there until I was 26 when I married and moved to Rainham, Kent.

Used to be the Garden of England but fast becoming a concrete jungle. :(

(Tony, it used to be Croydon, Surrey).

I was found under a gooseberry bush in Birminham ages and ages ago. I moved to Burntwood in South Staffordshire 38 years ago. We live right by Cannock Chase, designated as an area of outstanding beauty. As well as the usual types of deer, Cannock Chase is also home to the country's only population of very small Chinese deer, about as big as a medium sized dog. This is NOT an April fool joke, it is perfectly true, I just cannot remember the name of the species.

Born in Blackpool and lived there until 17 years old, then after Army service moved to London for 18 years, back to Blackpool for 12 years

Get a late night pass from the Warder now and then, and I'm allowed to stay out until 10pm. :( I always sneak back in at 11pm  Been climbing up the rain water pipe to get in the bedroom for the past two years  Then I realised I live in a Bungalow!

Born in the Land of The Prince Bishops, Durham City, after National Service moved to Newcastle Upon Tyne, after 8 years we decided the countryside of Northumberland was nicer.

1978 moved to Kent and became a commuter into London for the next ten years. Then the Company and I decided we'd had enough of each other and happily came back to Northumberland and retired. :)

Hi

Yer Cookie it is still Croydon Surrey, my mistake, i have just got used to saying South London to the Germans really, If i say Croydon Surrey the still have no clue where that is unless the have been there.

As for the rest of us, it is looking like we are far and wide.

Tony :)
