-pops- Posted February 18, 2005 Report Share Posted February 18, 2005 It's only Cross & Blackwell's Worcestershire Sauce (From Cambridgeshire), not the real Lea and Perrins (from Worcester).Please be aware, as well , that Sudan Red 1 was, at one time, used as a food colorant. Also, any toxic effects it is claimed to have were discovered by feeding gross overdose amounts to the test creatures before any adverse effect was demonstrable and that the effect observed in the test animals (rats) have not been shown in humans.
