Then from there you or somebody can search the microsoft website for the necessary files you need to get to replace your corrupt/missing ones. If so, you can do a "verify installation"; this will check for, and replace missing or corrupt system files. Follow the instructions at my very old website, but use the batch98 utility from the Win98 CD-ROM, and set Verify=1It would be best if you can recover the DLL from your Win98 CD; a DLL downloaded from the Internet may not be compatible with Win98.
