What a great constructive, positive comment from andsome :)

If any of you folks were online that long ago, share your memories of it  :throw:

I see nothing wrong at all with my posting. It was merely a statement of fact. What should I have done, wished them a happy birthday?? :birthday: :birthday: :birthday: :groupwave: :groupwave: :groupwave:

How about wishing them Good Riddance...? Now they have even infested my Adobe Reader 7 with ads! (No, not the Internet search bar, but the Ad bar - see below).

I think it's Adobe Reader that gives you the option to install a Yahoo tool bar or not. You must have clicked yes. Why not uninstall it and reinstall it, watching carefully for this feature. I know that I recently updated a program and noticed this feature. I feel sure that it was Adobe reader.

You are right: when downloading Adobe Reader 7, there is an option to download the Y@h**! toolbar, as well as an option for the Photoalbum 2.0 Starter Edition. I am 200% sure that I unchecked them both.

No, what I mean is the Ad bar on the top-right corner that starts with

then starts rotating ads such as the Y@h**! toolbar, or Try Acrobat for Free, etc. I don't mind Adobe's own ads in their free Viewer, but I resent having to look at the Y@h**! logo.

I too have Adobe 7, but do not suffer this problem. Something has gone wrong somewhere. Why not uninstall it and see what happens? I did install the photo album option, but as I don't use it I think I will get rid of it.

That's strange - I have that Ad bar on all installations of Adobe Reader 7; even the Japanese versions. But, it's only visible when the Window is maximized. Do you really don't have it there...?

I'd never noticed the Yahoo icon on my Adobe Reader. Yes, it is there and when I hover over it all I get is "Search the Internet with Yahoo". Apart from that, it sits there alone and un-cared for :(
