I thought the same a s you pops, but i ran the test anyway, and i got

I can't even get the test to work as a message comes up on screen saying:

Proxy-Server detected!

Your system indicates, that you are behind a proxy-server. We can't go through the proxy, so if you want us to scan your computer, please remove your proxy-settings temporarily.

I never had this message come up when I ran a similar test at:

Just done so now after your posting, thanks.  Every square green and a PASSED message

I get the same results when I run the Shields Up! test.

This is strange as one of the tests must be inaccurate, as the Trend Micro test found some security issues when you ran the test, but the Shields Up! test didn't

What version you got?

You're probably running the normal version, but the one I have is "enterprise". Maybe that makes a difference.

Now I remember, as I think you mentioned that you use the Enterprise version in another thread

I am using McAfee VirusScan 8 (2004 version) by the way.

Edit:

Just found the thread where you previously mentioned that you use the Enterprise Edition!

Hi all

Ok with Shields Up i get 100% stelth, & all ways have done, i tend to use it as my benchmark.

With the symantec scan i gat a at risk only cos it could not see my AVast antivirus scanner.

With the Trend Scan i got the all clear aswel.

I do tend to take the results from the online scanners (which also sell the products to stop the risks) with a pinch of salt.

So i am normally happy when shiels up gives me the all clear.

andsome: the ports you have open are fine. The reason they're open meaning that data is not restricted from flowing out/in them, whereas all traffic (outbound included) is restricted on all other ports.

The ports in question are:

22: SSH - probably the result of a SSL-encrypted webpage

53: DNS - resolution of hostnames

80: HTTP - so you can browse the web

The reason you passed shieldsup tests is because there is no server running on the machine, and thus nothing for the shieldsup to connect to when probing your ports. I hope this clears things up a might.
