The book is no longer banned, Haderer is free and the book can now go on sale legally," she said. HOWEVER, I firmly believe in every individuals right to worship as they see fit, if that is what they want, without being insulted by others. It is the man made religions that are the trouble, not God, Allah, Jesus or whoever else. I agree that the person in question is a trouble maker and needs locking up. However, I would NEVER force my opinion onto another person, nor would I penalize or think differently of them for believing in any person or person(s) being a God, or godlike figure.The one who says your wrong for following a certain faith is in fact the one who is wrong. Sir Radfordin Posted April 16, 2005 Report Share Posted April 16, 2005 I've met plenty of athiests that try to argue they are right and thus attempt to 'convert' you to their way of thinking.If someone believes their 'faith' is the right one they should not need to force it on anyone since they should be able to present convincing arguments and 'claims' that people want to share the same beliefs. Problem is too many people are caught up in their own little world to stop and listen to what anyone else has to say.If you take an unbiased view of the way religion is presented in the media then you will more often than not see that those religions that are more prevallent in the middle/far East are often seen as 'taboo' and not 'made fun of' (for want of a better world) whilst 'Christian' religions are frequently the 'butt of the joke'. Perhaps there is nothing wrong in that, the problem is too many people fail to see beyond the media spin and make judgements based on how a person of X, Y or Z religion acts in their most watched/loved/hated soap/tv show.Clearly Haderer has a problem with logic since there is no evidence that Jesus Christ and Jimi Hendrix ever shared the time of day let alone a pint.
