trackrat
I was just reading Andsomes birthday posts and wondered how they put those pictures in without attaching them as thumbnails

andsome
yes. The url is the website. That's what I thought. You either need your own website, or use a picture from an existing website.
deuces wild
Yes. If I find a picture on the web I want to post, even if it within a large website, I right click on the picture, choose properties and copy the url. That is the web address/url I then paste between the img's.
Gandalph
The way I do it is:Right click on the picture then 'Save as' which opens My Documents. Then I navigate through to the folder that I want to save it to. When I attach the picture as a thumbnail in 'Add Reply' I just click on the browse button and navigate through to where the piccy is, highlight it then click on the 'Add This Attachment' button.Probably the same thing but slightly different.
Sparks
I use http://photobucket.com/ to host my pictures. You can also store photographs in your own album for you or friends to view and it's free.
trackrat
Thanks for your replies, I have been using the same method as Gandalf.I was just interested in how they got the pictures in the post without attaching a thumbnail, and this has been adequately answered.
