-pops-
Whoever, whatever, they will very quickly be back to doing what they do best - all the lot of them. That is back into their ivory towers feathering their own nests, filling their gravy trains with sauce Bourgignone and completely ignoring those who voted for them until, of course, the end of the next four or five years when we go through this whole silly charade again. As I wrote the other day - whoever you vote for, you always get politicians.A pox on them all. Belatucadrus
but also I dread to think what will happen when Brown takes over.Too true, anybody who thinks Gordon Brown will relinquish control of the treasury when he becomes PM is living in cloud cuckoo land. That man is going to give new meaning to "centralised control", he'll be more presidential than George Bush. :censored:
catgate
The other day, out of curiosity, I looked up the word "Politics" in Roget's Thesaurus. It was very enlightening, and proves just how ill educated our wonderful leaders and their henchmen are. They must be totally oblivious to its connotations or else they would not wish to be associated with it.....or may be they would.
