deuces wild
I thought outer space belonged to everyone? (And I do see their point)May 19, 2005 — WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. government does not want billboards in space. The Federal Aviation Administration proposed on Thursday to amend its regulations to ensure that it can enforce a law that prohibits "obtrusive" advertising in zero gravity."Objects placed in orbit, if large enough, could be seen by people around the world for long periods of time," the FAA said in a regulatory filing. For instance, outsized billboards deployed by a space company into low Earth orbit could appear as large as the moon and be seen without a telescope, the FAA said. Big and bright advertisements might hinder astronomers.http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=772732FIVE MAN ELECTRICAL BAND lyrics - "Signs"And the sign said "Long-haired freaky people need not apply"So I tucked my hair up under my hat and I went in to ask him whyHe said "You look like a fine upstanding young man, I think you'll do"So I took off my hat, I said "Imagine that. deuces wild
Could you imagine that happening? You look up at a beautiful evening sky only to see a "Eat at Joes" sign floating by in outer space? When will this lunacy end?Edit: My post should have said "And" I do see their point, not "But"...that word does distort my intent of posting this. :)

Do they intend to go to war with countries that violate their laws? :D :D :D :D
