I have a cunning plan

Recommended Posts

Before very long there is going to be a big meeting in Scotland. I think it would be a very good idea if, when the meeting had just started, we all went up to Hadrians wall and rebuilt it and made it more effective than ever. That way we could keep HIM (or even them) from coming back. "Are ye wi' me , lads?"

You're not one of the famed Invarary Formation Porridge Jugglers are you? We were up that area touring, on our motorcycle, a couple of years ago, and no matter where we looked we could not find them. We asked around and were given many different replies. "Porridge is out of season now." "They've all gone to get their oats." "Jock Mc Dougal's bagpipes are gummed up with oat dust." etc. So we never saw them. We were, however, lucky enough to catch sight the last of the Arbroath Smokey weavers just turning the heel on his last pair before Christmas.

Afraid not .... but I do eat porridge (proper stuff, not the commercialised kind) .... wish you hadn't mentioned Arbroath Smokies ..... I'd sell my Grannie for one right now!

If the Wall were rebuilt, would it be enough to keep anyone from straying from one area to the other?

I'm not quite sure what this thread is about, but building a wall between two countries (or even to divide a country) is not the answer.

The Emporer Hadrian found that out. :D
