benb
Hey everyone, I'm just wondering what you're favourite Windows XP theme is. I mean any theme at all, whether it requires a hacked uxtheme.dll or not ;)Please explain why your choice is your choice, and give a link to the other or custom theme that you like. Also, please include a screenshot :D. I'm looking for a good one because right now all I pretty much have is Longhorn and Mac themes :PI'll start. Right now I choose Other and mine requires a hacked uxtheme.dll :It's called Diamond and it is / was created by WindowsX (windowsx.cc) but the site is down and I wonder if it will ever be back up so I can't really link to it...[Edit] Sorry about the bad quality file, it wouldn't let me post a 233 KB high-quality .gif. Also, don't worry my name isn't Vanda.
-pops-
Silver - it's easy on these aging eyes of mine. I find violent colours, especially the green, somewhat jarring to be looking at them all day.

Scarecrow Man
I use litespawn and litestep (darkstep as well, but much more confusing), ever since redhat posted about it. VERY customizable, and I can switch back to explorer (with royale theme) any time I want to!Litespawn also catches and prevents explorer crashes. andsome
Can't make my mind up about that. I think I'll stick with what I have above for the time being.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I am quite happy with whatever DELL puts onto my new systems. I haven't changed a theme since the Windows95 Plus! pack.

korgg
I use litespawn and litestep (darkstep as well, but much more confusing), ever since redhat posted about it. VERY customizable, and I can switch back to explorer (with royale theme) any time I want to!Litespawn also catches and prevents explorer crashes.Lite spawn managed to disable for good the explorer shell ... Since then I got nothing to loose I experimented some themes for XP using DesktopX... Most of them were MAC OsX style. I even managed to change the boot screen :D... But finally I gave it all up... No XP on my box for a long, long (hopefully very long) time...:)So, my advice is to make a restore point before you start playing with these programs...
