catgate Posted June 27, 2005 Report Share Posted June 27, 2005 I have just come across the following in a news item on Yahoo :-The United States has so far strongly disputed the scientific basis for global warming.A leaked draft of a final statement for the G8 summit underscored a gulf betweenPresident Bush and Blair about the extent of the problem.Why in gods name do they have a summit, if they know already what the outcome will be, and have a handout statement ready. ....and that stupid prat Geldof thinks he is going to achieve something!!! He also believes that it is good to chop all the trees down, because it helps to stop forest fires. Just think and be VERY SCARED, he has his finger on the nuclear button.
