andsome
Do you like Beethoven, download some of the symphonies from the BBC, FreeBBC Radio 3Good link for newcomers to music, but I already have them all on CD, including the tenth. Don't any clever clogs tell me that he only ncomposed nine, the first movement of the tenth was discovered a few years ago, and has been recorded. scuzzman
The download rates are terrible - about 3-5KBps...And I'm on 7MBit cable...
-pops-
The download rates are terrible - about 3-5KBps...And I'm on 7MBit cable...I've not thried these ones but I download a lot from the BBC. They've always downloaded in real time for me i.e. a one hour program takes an hour. Are these different?

dadyassa
Just a thought, does BBC3 own Beethovens copyright ? :D
-pops-
Just a thought, does BBC3 own Beethovens copyright ? :DCopyright lasts for 99 years after the owner's demise. I think you'll find that Beethoven is outside that limit. :D

-pops-
I don't think you can buy copyright. It is possible to transfer ownership (distinct legal difference) but the timespan of the copyright remains with the originator. Hence, with the Beatles copyrights, depending who owned them - was it The Beatles as a group or individual members? In any case, some of the 99 years has already begun. Not that it will bother many of us. :)
