catgate
Did I misunderstand you or is that what you really said?I said :-"....their aims, which generally is not unreasonable." I think if I had written "are" instead of "is" it would have been more grammatically corrct, and would have read rather better. I think you will find that most terrorist groups, have the aim of ridding their country/society of oppression of some sort. That oppresion can be in many forms, economic, political, religious, invasion, but the one thing common to all forms of oppression is that it is against the will of the people who are being oppressed. Good old Queen Boudica (as she now likes to be called) was a terrorist, so was King Alfred, when he was not burning the toast. In the 1939-45 war the people of the occupied countries resorted to similar tactics, but they were called resistance fighters and patriots. The terrorist is is in the wrong to resort to killing anyone, in any way, and I do not condone it, but I still say that wanting to remove oppression it is not unreasonable. The only correct way to deal with these sorts of problems is by dialogue and aquiesence to the will of the population, but that is not the way of the politician, however much they pretend it is.The real answer is for a completely new form of government. "Politics" is not government. If you look up "politics" in Roget you will see what I mean.Edit...attachment added
Tankus
The Spanish government would have been in trouble in the elections without the bombing ...... although it was the final nail The old administration was far more pro US foreign policy ..than the general population ....
