Young lady that is blasphemy! :D You would certainly never say that if you had a properly prepared ear of fresh corn on the cob as nothing could be further from the truth.

We have Mcdonalds etc. American I believe, I don't mind it ocasionaly but the meat is tasteless and enimic (not sure about the spelling). And I only ask as some of the supposed best chefs in the world come from the land without taste buds.

We have lots of 'pick your own' farms around here - so I have tried it and can only say it's ok - I'm sticking with the frozen! :P

Some of the best food I've ever eaten was in the USA.

I have NEVER been to a McDonald's, a Kentucky Fried Chicken emporium or any of the multiple clones either here, there or anywhere else.

As for American food, we are more than Mcdonald's I assure you.

While our roots are based on everyone else's (as we are yet a very young country), we have a certain flare when it comes to some things. Take, for instance, sausage gravy and biscuits, hamburgers (real ones), hotdogs, and steak. I know of very few other nations where these items, and many more, can be cooked th way they are here.

I grew up on farms. I've seen my mother make magic with a couple of biscuits, some flour, water, and a couple of potatoes! :drool:
