trackrat
I have just run 3 different broadband speed tests and got 3 different results.Does anyone now of an accurate one?.
-pops-
Were they widely different? Thing is that the speed will vary from moment to moment and it depends on all sorts of variables. Even multiple tests with the same testing device will give different results between each attempt.
trackrat
The first 2 tests showed Down/Up 778/ 116-958/164, the 3rd one only showed a download speed of 866 and wanted £10.00 to find the upload speed.
CurlyWhirly
I always use http://www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/speedtest.asp but as this is a UK website I don't think it can be used outside the UK?I usually get different speed results each time I run the test but they only vary by a relatively small amount and not to the extent of yours trackrat! :o

You'd have to be pretty desperate to spend 10 quid on this.Do a few tests over a period and see how they vary.
