I went on line to pay my new subscription to Norton Personal firewall 2003, and System Tools 2003. I received a message to the effect that I could receive downloads for another year, but could no longer receive e-mail or telephone support. I thought that this was disgusting for a program only a couple of years old. I have now downloaded Nod 32 AV, and Sygate Personal Firewall. I have purchased a three year subscription to Nod 32, and will get e-mail and also UK telephone support. I will qualify for all free updates, including a free personal firewall when it is ready some time next year. It may be good - but there are less expensive solutions around - even free ones.I use McAfee anti virus which works for me and is significantly less costly. I was just taken by surprise at the VERY helpful attitude of the people at Nod, and it is great to get UK support for the price of a phone call. The system by the way has already saved me from one virus. I got an e-mail link from Neo Planet. When I followed it the message was that the link was broken or out of date. I then did a foolish thing and clicked on a link that was in the e-mail, this then downloaded a virus that was stopped by Nod 32. It is now obvious to me that the original post had been rempved from the forum by the staff having discovered that this was a rouge posting.
