Thos Posted August 14, 2005 Report Share Posted August 14, 2005 At the bottom of these pages there is a box called "Skin Selector"Hitherto there were two selections 15 and 17, which I assumed to be screen size. My screen being 17 inch I had selected 17, natch.Two additions have been made, 15 2.1 and 17 2.1. Can anyone tell me what these are? Chris Posted August 14, 2005 Report Share Posted August 14, 2005 The software that we use on this forum is know as Invision Power Board by Invision Power Services :huh: The major new release of the software will be version 2.1 [see Invision Power Board 2.1 Road Map]There will be new features to play with and as a result the layout of the board has changed. Nothing to major but trust me you'll be asking "where's this, where's that". All that IPS have done is moved a few things to a drop down menu!As a result of this the code behind the board has changed, a few extra bits here and there. Some bits of code have even been removed. Because of this a change in the forum skin is required so that we can see the new features of IPB 2.1.Version 2.1 is at BETA 5 and you can see it in action HERESee the flash movies below for a peak, refresh page if you cannot see the mouse cursor.
