In fact it has now reached £3412.23 with last months interest (£8.01) What I've done for last and this years collections is to drop into the Barclays Savings Account (some of you will have details of this). Then as soon as they have cleared shoot it across to an Ing account I've opened in the name of Hunters Moor - for traceability. The Interest is credited monthly and calculated by the day. It definitely works this way as I've done the numbers and my calculations agree to the penny. The interest is credited net of tax so it is an efficient way of storing it until I hand it over. The only niggle is waiting 3/4 days for things to clear at each stage.Hope to get more info tomorrow as to what they are spending it on this year. Talking to Sandra Stark the boss clinician she's thinking of a tilting exercise bed to give the Physio's more flexibility for working on the patients. In addition she wants to get a swivel wheel powered wheel chair. This is to make it easier getting patients in and out of transport rather than having to take the sides off to lift them out sideways.More to follow.
