Boris
After 10 years of active development and presence in the freeware market, EVEREST Home Edition (the successor of AIDA32) is being discontinued on December 1, 2005 however, all online content related to freeware products are removed from our website already. Lavalys will continue to support this product for all users until March 2006, we will not be actively developing any new features or functionality going forward. Support is available only from our Online Community Forum. The success of our commercial products has played a major role and somehow forced our decision to leave the freeware market and dedicate all our resources to speed up development and support for our customers says Roger Marion. We strongly encourage those users interested in purchasing commercial EVEREST Ultimate Edition 2006 or EVEREST Corporate Edition to download the product and evaluate it free of charge for 30 days. To ease the transition, Lavalys is pleased to offer its commercial products at a special price discount of 50% between now and January 31, 2006.Details

CurlyWhirly
Yes a real shame :( I wonder if a similar thing will happen to Belarc Advisor 7.0t ?I might have to go back to using that again unless I am willing to pay for the commercial version of Everest.Does anyone know how Everest compares with Belarc Advisor just out of curiosity? Thos
I used AIDA then Everest, but I didn't have cause to use them often, so I don't think I will miss them much.Thos. :)
Scarecrow Man
AIDA and Everest were very powerful programs, I have also used SiSoft Sandra (sp?) which did similar benchmarks, and gave info about the system. There is nothing everest can tell me, I cannot find out without cracking the case. (other than temperature :P )So long to a very powerful freeware app. Perhaps they will come to thier senses and make it open source..... :ninja:
r4may
I still use Aida32 it tells me all I want to know, I did not like everest very much.Everest/Aida show different info to that of Belarc Advisor, also breaks down the info to a greater level.
