515 Posted January 22, 2006 Report Share Posted January 22, 2006 Hey, i currently have XP PRO and i have had it for 4 years, but i was looking at XP COPORATE and XP MEDIA CENTER, i was wondering if i should switch to COPORATE or MEDIA CENTER.Are they better because they are newer versions than 2001's XP PRO.COPORATE sounds better but i don't know, all i do on my PC is just listen to music whilst playing games and XP PRO does it great, but seeing as there are other XP VERSIONS, if i should change to make my PC quicker ?Can anyone give me some suggestions ? Thanks.If as you say XP does it great there is no point in changing.A different version of XP will not make you machine run more quickly - that's a function of the hardware.I doubt very much if you will gain anything. I won't be upgrading to the next version of Windows, whatever Gates calls it in the end, unless I need a new computer. 98 and 98SE gave a lot of problems, and needed changing.
