deuces wild
Our little baby, our first born............turned 21 years old on Monday and called us tonight to tell us she just made her first *official* beer run for her room mates. :paperbag1: She spent the entire weekend *celebrating* her birthday, with parties on Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night. :drinks: Don't get me wrong.......she is maintaining a decent GPA while working part-time for spending money. We are really proud of her...............most of time. :D I understand reaching the age of 21 is a major milestone in life, but to mark it with weekend long parties and beer runs is not what I remember. How times have changed. Am I just an old fart? :scare:

D4\/!d
Happy 21st Birthday - that was the birthday I remember discovering that I really did like dark rum. These days I've usually got a bottle of Woods 100 in the cupboard.

joysness
I remember my 21st. birthday.I had waited patiently to be able to go out for a drink. The only alcohol I'd had was a taste of my mom's sherry at Christmas time. (I hated it.)Anyway, two weeks before my 21st birthday, the legal drinking age was reduced to 18. Kinda took all the fun out of it. :P

andsome
How many on the forum waited until they were the legal age before buying a drink? To my shame I got stinking drunk in a pub somewhere in Worcestershire when I was 15, and attending a camp for the apprentices from I.C.I. No one asked how old any of us were. I was drinking the local scrumpy.

korgg
Come here ... You can buy it whatever your age is (a law exists, but nobody decent respects it )....And all respects go to VODKA (plus some wine and local stuff) at the age of 14 :D ... After I turned 24 I suddenly stopped... Now I bearly get a beer ...deuces wild If she told you how she passed the line of 21 then she deserves some trust.. :D ... After all, not everyday you become fully responsible of your own life :D
