Keep a Diary

I have been keeping a detailed computer diary for the last couple of years and have found it to be invaluable when problem solving - you can easily see what changes were made to your computer and in what order and when.

I use a simple table in Word with a column for the date and a column for a description of each event - such as installing or removing a programme, tweaking computer settings, problems met and solutions, restoring etc.

It takes very little time to keep up - but has saved me from doing something stupid on several occasions. :vibrate:

Perhaps you should think of doing the same...........? :flowers:
