AlanHo
I have been keeping a detailed computer diary for the last couple of years and have found it to be invaluable when problem solving - you can easily see what changes were made to your computer and in what order and when.I use a simple table in Word with a column for the date and a column for a description of each event - such as installing or removing a programme, tweaking computer settings, problems met and solutions, restoring etc.It takes very little time to keep up - but has saved me from doing something stupid on several occasions. :vibrate: Perhaps you should think of doing the same...........? :flowers:
artist
That's a good Idea. Much more organized than me. I have a Calender with biggish spaces next to me . I write what I download or delete on that or any other odd changes I make. It's fine but not so obvious as the year goes on.

andsome
I just muddle along, as I suspect most people do.
Thos
I just muddle along, as I suspect most people do.Yes, I do, too. I think it a good idea but I know that I would start off bright and shiny and after a few days not get round to updating and it would go on until I would have to start again.Thos. :)
