They are still great mates and in and out each others houses. It's something that should have been handled at school. For the CPS to go as far as to bring a court case is using a sledge hammer to crack a nut and political correctness gone mad. Well madder we already know they're mad, why can't they see that this lack of common sense and lack of proportion just makes them an object of ridicule ? If you call a man a Paki it is no different to calling another man a Scot.If you use the PC phrase "a weight problem" you know some one is fat, just as an "eating disorder" means skinny. You know that Traveller means Gypsy. If someone has "learning difficulties" everyone knows what it means just as much as they would do had you used the non PC words. "Deprived Area", "less fortunate", etc. are all as daft as "delayed success".What is amusing is the idea that there can be any form of "correctness" that could have the adjective "political" applied to it.It's a bit of an oxymoron. Who is worse than the BBC when they introduce someone as a 'CHAIR'? What on earth is wrong with chairman or chairwoman or even chair person?
