AlanHo Posted May 19, 2006 Report Share Posted May 19, 2006 You can check with some software issued by MicrosoftDownload from this siteMy computer is OK and I intend using Vista when it becomes available.I bet most on the forum will declare an intention to wait awhile until the early adopters find the bugs and Microsoft fixes them - but it needs pioneers like me to be the sacraficial lambs - otherwise you would be waiting for ever. My son has ordered a Vista machine from me as and when feasible. That may, just, encourage me to convert but it will be a new build not an upgrade. However - I owe it a debt of gratitude because it forced me to learn more about computers and self control than any other software I have ever encountered - even Norton was well behaved in comparison.As I said in the earlier post - I can understand people waiting for the dust to settle before moving to a new platform - but if everybody did that the new system would never get off the ground.
