doug
It has been implied, in another thread see here that my little bit of exercising may have had an adverse affect on my brain. I'll have you know that I have had a brain scan for a hearing related problem and they didn't find anything!

doug
Can't remember exactly what the audio specialist said now it was either nothing there or nothing to examine or someting. Certainly when I had the brain scan after my stroke, that spacialist pointed to the picture at somewhere in the middle of my head she said "see that there, well it's dead!" doug
That particular brain scan was hillarious. The MRI techs had really set me up - not sure which bit of kit they were using but she said that iff the first scan didn't give enough contrast the they would give me an injection to improve it. Sure enough after the scan she came back with a large syringe and said it'll only be a small prick - they LIE. So she pumped it in and went off and did the second scan. She came back and said that worked OK. Not to worry about the side effects of the injection as sometimes ones urine can turn purple as it was potassium iodide. Now this brought back memories of the use of starch as an end point indicator when carrying out chemical titrations using iodine. I thought Hmm perhaps it's could be associated with residual sugars in the urine. Naturally I kept a close watch on the colour until I went back to hospital for the results. I mentioned it in passing the the Consultant who burst out laughing. I had been well and truly HAD.

gordythegouge
Pricks?Injections?............subject seems pretty pointless to me! huh! Anyway as long as Doug and his elusive brain cells have survived to tell the tale.....all's well that ends well!
