Has anyone died or caught (was going to say been ill but then thought that would be most of us) salmonella from the chocolate, If not why are you worrying about it. there is probably traces of salmonella on allot of foods you eat. This I believe is how you build up an immunity to something.

Yes you do build up immunity to it, I watched a program on TV about it.

They did the five second drop on the floor thing, if you pick it up quick enough it will be ok to eat, not true.

They did find out though that if it was dropped in your house and you eat it, you were less likely to get poisoned than if you were out somewhere else, due to your body being used to the germs in your house.

I wasn't going to mention it but I've been ill since early hours of Tuesday morning...left it too late to go to the doctor(Thursday) so I've missed a week's work which is why I've been so active in the Forums probably, also missed Daughter No. 2's graduation, not allowed to go for fear of infecting several generations of the family! Not that I was fit to travel anywhere without a full biological spillage backup team! Yuch!!! So I've been on my own, and it is lonely when you're not up to snuff, and you lot.........god help me............have actually helped me get over it!

Now.................I have a cunning plan! Suppose......for instance.......I caught salmonella from reading the news on the Web about the Cadbury's scare......you know the thing.....autosuggestion and all that.....do you think I could sue them for every penny I currently don't have?*! Do you think it's worth a try?*!

Do you ...................?

Poor old gordythe gouge (why don't you shorten that name a bit?) I am especially sorry that you missed the Graduation ceremoney and I bet your daughter is, too.

Keep taking the pills (and the chocolate). BTW that sounds like a good name for a new choccy bar, CADBURY's SCARE.

Thos.

Now I know why the local steak restaurant's menu includes a dessert called "Death by Chocolate"

Cadbury's

All joking aside, have you ever actually had a helping of 'Death by chocolate'? It's my all time favourite.

I've only had the purchased gateau variety and to be honest.......it beat me! Too much of a good thing!
