Guest Nellie2
The other day I was driving along in the car and 'I'm a Believer' by The Monkees came on the radio........... well it was a sunny day, I was whizzing along and singing at the top of my voice. What you might call feel good music I suppose. Right now I am listening to Bruce Springsteen...... Waiting on a sunny day. Another upbeat song to make me feel happy. What makes you feel good.....music wise that is.
Guest moon
Loads of stuff, ranging from Cream to Edgar Varese hitting a bass marimba with feather dusters. I'm in love with sound. I confess to repeatedly drifting back to Joe Cocker's 'Night Calls' album though. :D
mark2
Al Stewart - Year of the Cat, Chris de Burgh -Spanish Train, and plenty of similar from the same era
andsome
Classical music from light classics to the heavier stuff by Mahler, Shostakovitch, Sibelius etc. Opera, especially Puccini and Wagner. Traditional jazz especially the old trad bands of the thirties and forties. Modern jazz. Big band, and also a good ballad. I just cannot stand all this stuff of West Indian origin, and also modern type noise. Before anyone says anything about being miserable because I hate POP, just remember that I don't call you miserable if you don't like my taste. I have frequently found, unfortunately, that many pop lovers seem to be of the opinion that everyone should be forced to listen to it, hence the piped rubbish in so many shops. mmmbisto
At the moment the album I like listening to is Evanescence. Hardly call it up beat music though lol. Damo might like it though! An upbeat song I like at the moment has to be Wayne Wonder - No Letting Go. It's kinda Reggae. I'm very musically open minded :D
artist
Anything Rock & Roll really. That was my youth! :) I still reckon that when I'm 90 I'll still be tapping my feet and singing along with music. It'll be funny dressed in me jeans and trainers etc, with coloured (grey) hair and me mascara and lippy! :D

Agent Smith
My favorite driving music is Guns'N'Roses, Queen, the soundtrack to Last of the Mohicans and the heavier classical stuff (like Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries, if you know what I mean).Mr. M.
