Chris
Does anyone remember the guy who had a conspiracy theory about computers who fail after their warranty period runs out?His mission was to locate and prove that such a chip exsisted where it made a component fail on the computer (something like that)

Guest Nellie2
This happens with washing machines too, you can guarantee the day after the warranty runs out then the washing machine is up the spout. And it seems to know if you have an extended warranty or not. :(
artist
Been there, done that, got the T shirt etc!Mind you, we had a microwave that broke six months after the warranty ran ran out - rang the company - Phillips - and complained. They sent a man and the new part. Very impressed. :)

andsome
I recently set up my daughter's old PC for a friend. It never broke down when my daughter used it, and is still running now many years after it was brand new. It is that old that the hard drive is 1.3 GB, it has 32 Ram, and a 133 CPU. It runs on steam.
