Last post times are different

I don't want people thinking I'm a moaner and I wasn't going to mention this but Chris (Admin) said to go ahead and post it.

I've known about this bug for some time.

When I go into the 'View New Posts' section and check the times of the last post, on some threads the times are different from the actual thread itself:

For example in this thread, the last post was this morning at 10.22 :

According to the 'View New Post' section, the last post was at 21.34 this evening :

Mmm... strange

Another little bug that I have noticed is that periodically the board seems to be unavailable just for a minute or two. Windows diagnostic does not find any connectivity problems, and no other sites are affected. Anyone else?????

I don't ever get this but if the (shared) server is too busy then I get an error message displayed on the screen but I can't remember what it actually says as it doesn't happen very often!

I get this a lot during my daytime. Timeouts - especially when trying to post - ending up with a blank screen. Refresh (F5) then sometimes end up in a double post. Not a big deal, but it can get annoying when it's happening repeatedly.

It may not be a bug, It has been noted by a couple of other mods that it occurs in poll threads and as such, a vote in the poll changes the post time, even if the voter has not posted in the thread.

Thanks.

In that case I can close this topic as if it's not really a bug as such then this thread can be confined to the bin
