ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
You may have to wait for ever - this thing has been beta since I found it first (April 2007)
Dencandy
Well, at least they're honest about it being Beta. Unlike some others, G**gle Chr*me for example!
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Frankly, I am astounded that Chrome is not in beta. Google usually keeps their software in beta for years and years; Gmail is still in beta...

andsome
You may have to wait for ever - this thing has been beta since I found it first (April 2007) I have no problems with the standard version, so is there really any point in going Beta? :D

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Uninstall it, rather than disable.
andsome
Uninstall it, rather than disable. It is part of the operating system. I have unticked it in Control Panel/add and remove programs/Add and remove windows components. Even after doing this the old program still showed it as need an update, the new version does not. :D
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I have removed it aeons ago; I don't know why you cannot uninstall it. Perhaps you updated it at some time to a newer version?

Lamb Chop
I just downloaded this as no longer use Secunia and it gave me 12 programs to update - d/l the ones I use 4 - uninstalled old versions I never use and then when I tried to go to downloads file to start installing - programs would not respond - and didnt even send a msg back. So uninstalled. My computer seems touchy these days.
