Something strange when posting URLs...

Recommended Posts

Just posted a couple of URLs in another section of the forum, and the result is rather strange - never seen that before today. Let's try that again here...

Yep, exactly what you see above. Note that HTML is set Off. Some strange HTML 'a' tags mixed in...

http://secunia.com/software_inspector/" target="_blank">http://secunia.com/software_inspector/</a>

Did we get any forum software updates...?

I agree there is something odd happening. The coloured symbols at left which go to uncoloured if you have looked at that post are very erratic in their working..

I've just come on (from being out having my flu jab) and it appeared that there were no new posts. A closer look showed there were eight since I was last on.

Me too testing: http://www.google.com/" target="_blank">http://www.google.com/

Second test: http://www.google.com/

After preview, the first format using

http://www.google.com/

creates the mis-post. Using the hyperlink button works fine.

That is until you edit the original post, or you reply, as seen above. Then both links become b0rked.
