This one was a little better, perhaps as a result of my first experience I think that finding the way round forums is a matter of experience. It was OK to use but these Invision forums are much better and easier to use. I never read the FAQ's unless I need to know something or find something out (shame on me!). Like a lot of online users, I accept everything without reading the small print (shame on me again!)! Same with software installations - Just tick the boxes and continue regardless (and always looking for the toolbars etc!)... Too much 'red tape' and if we read half of what they all say (and we had a degree to understand them!) we would cancel most as we couldn't/didn't understand them fully anyway? It was a great help on many occasions and bvw stands out in my memory as being particually helpful. (Don't see him on here anymore)I was an absolute novice so much of what was said went over my head but it was 'school' for me. Other forums are more lighthearted I think. I would echo andsome's experience - found my way here from there, found it easier to use and more friendly.Still use PCA from time to time when a problem cannot be solved here - having said that - it is not all that often for it to be resolved there if our members cannot come up with an answer. I thought that was not very easy to navigate, at first that is.Shortly after this, I joined 'Cruise Critic' forum, as result of an up coming 60th birthday treat to a Regent Seven Seas cruise. Watchful Posted October 27, 2007 Report Share Posted October 27, 2007 PCA was my 'first' as well and it was fairly easy to use. Bvw was a big help in the beginning, also €dstowe and Jazzypop. I was a complete novice then Lately I've gravitated to other forums not compter-orientated and they are all quite easy to use. I've now joined half a dozen forums and that's my limit as with work and other commitments, I wouldn't have the time to post in anymore I particularly enjoy reading all of the posts on WF.I have gathered so much knowledge by accessing this information, I can't begin to express how grateful I am. :D WF was the very first PC forum I ever used.Naturally, I have been introduced to others during the course of my experience here.
