Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post here.

I just was wondering why the heck that message (Not responding...) pops whenever you do something tricky like moving the mouse and click fast here and there...switching between 2 apps...i dunno...but it happens?

Second, multitasking under Win is Lose. Even on multicore processors. Try to copy from a CD two different locations and see...

Last but not least, it's as it were designed from the scratch to be crackable and hackable and virusable and shit....

Linux Rules!

At least Windows tells you it's no longer responding and has a problem. Have you never had linux hang and hang ?? whilst you watch the watch symbol ?

Horses for courses, I use Windows and various flavours of Linux.

Linux kernel updates and windows updates break hardware drivers regularly, and generally I've found windows problems easier to sort, and help for new users more forthcoming than in some linux forums.

But then I'm not wearing blinkers any more.

We've had trouble makers here before. THIS, if you hadn't noticed is a WINDOWS forum, but is open to everyone, no matter what O.S. they use, browser the use, or deodorant they use. If you come here with that attitude, DON'T expect to be made welcome.
