AlanHo
In the actual magazine it says :-Quote - "We're giving away AVG Anti Virus 7.5 Professional to protect your PC for 12 months - or until AVG stop supporting the software - whichever comes soonest". UnquoteIt looks to me like the software will expire in a maximum of 12 months. On the same page there is an upgrade offer obtain to AVG Internet Security for £34.99 instead of the full price of £44.99. AlanHo
I have just uninstalled this version and reinstalled AVG Free. The reason being that every morning since I moved up to the pro version my computer has insisted on a reboot after the AVG update file(s) are downloaded. I get a warning from the task bar that there is a red flag in my Control Centre - which states that I must reboot for the update to be installed. This rarely happened with the free version and has become a nuisance. D4\/!d
I too found it annoying so I switched off the AVG update file(s) and scan at boot up.
Irene
I hesitate to say, but I am not getting problems so far. The only thing I did do, was to disable the email shield, because that was a slight problem.
