Gordon Brown to confront MPs over tax rebellion

Recommended Posts

“Instead of which Tony felt he had no option but to stay on and fight for the things he believed in.”

Not the things he was elected to do, things in his manifesto. Not the things people who elected him wanted to do. Not even things he knew were right and proper and would work. Only things which he believed in.

It sat a lot about believing rather than knowing, and what damage can be done by ignorance and belief in the hands of an egocentric politician.
