saturnhunter Posted July 9, 2008 Report Share Posted July 9, 2008 i use xp home sp3. i downloaded the updates and rebooted and couldnt get online after that. im on cable. downloads were kb890830, kb951748, and kb 951978. i had to do a restore. thinking maybe it was my cable i tried again, i tried to do a uninstall but couldnt find them in add/uninstall. how do i get that to show up also. so how do i get theses updates to work, is it just me with the problem. i had to turn off my auto updates. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I copied and pasted it funny and it cut some of it off.A Firewall will always nag you for your opinion on new software until it learns how your computer works. If you are ever unsure about a program asking for permission, deny it and if you find that your program does not work, allow it next time. Gandalph Posted July 9, 2008 Report Share Posted July 9, 2008 I've used Comodo Firewall Pro for quite some time now. Granted, it is a bit of a proverbial pain when you first start with it but that is because it is on a learning curve. It does settle down after two or three day's of use.
