Redhat
i have noticed one distinct difference in the way men and women drive. Apart from that for men they drive good, and women bad. When approaching a roundabout, a man looks to see if there is anything coming as he approaches the roundabout, and thus can smoothly carry on if theres nothing coming. A woman however, approaches the roundabout. Then STOPS. Then LOOKS. The WONDERS why someone went into the back of her.Anyone agree?
bvw
:) The older male drivers, when approaching a roundabout, check to see if a lady driver is in front of them first, then wait patiently until all danger has passed
Boris
men they drive good, and women bad.Just wait til the girls see this ! :o To risk death when so young. You'd better get your helmet + Kevlar body armour on ? :D :D :D
Guest Nellie2
The WONDERS why someone went into the back of her.Obviously men who are going far too fast. A good driver takes no chances and makes sure that there is enough space between them and the person in front so that they can stop in time. Redhat
I may actually beat you, cos I can drive, just not old enough to prove it :D Depends on what this challenge entails? If it's most amount of crashes / claims to your insurance company in a day, I'm going to have to back down the competition is tooooo strong  *Runs and goes into hiding*
Guest Nellie2
Well I have had my license and have been driving..........for quite a few years. Have a full no claims bonus and have only had one crash in all my driving life... and that was only 4 months ago.... so up until then.... nothing (it weren't my fault either by the way)(just 'cos my rotton insurance company were weeds and wouldn't fight it!!) andsome
I generally find that women almost ALWAYS stop in the left hand lane of a roundabout, even when turning right, then slowly go right round the roundabout signalling right and cutting in front of all the other traffic. This usually done at 1 MPH.Also if you ever come up behind a tractor on a country road with a long queue behind it, the vehicle immediately behind the tractor is invariably a woman, sitting with clenched fists, and the steering wheel right underneath her chin. artist
Funny how there are insurance companies with special deals for women because they are less risk? Why is that then? Most men treat driving as a competition - HAVE to be in front! - got a 'my car's faster than yours' hang up - think no one drives as good as them etc etc etc..........My hubby is a pain in the a** as a passenger - why he can't just sit there, relax and enjoy the scenery, I just don't know!Like Nell, I've been driving for XXXyears and have full no claims - My cast off cars are always an excellent buy for someone - no patching up needed just to sell it to some poor sucker!! :)
andsome
Some of the most aggressive drivers on the road today, are young women company rep's. If given a choice of company car, rather than opt for a decent sized comfortable saloon, in which they could relax while driving, they choose a small very fast GT souped up model. They then drive in the outside lane of the motorway, overtaking everything in sight, giving a sideways glance as they go past, as good as saying "yes I'm a woman but you can't beat me". If you happen to be in the outside lane overtaking another vehicle when they come along, they try to drive in your boot until you move over. They really are worse than the young hot headed men, and even worse than lorry drivers. Before anyone says anything, NO I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST COMPANY REPS. I was one myself until I retired, and always kept an appropriate distance behind the vehicle in front, and never responded to the challenging glances of these female drivers. Guest Nellie2
what nell fails to mention is how many crashes she has caused!!!!Look it really isn't my fault if the male of the species would rather gaze over in my direction than concentrate on the road. As for Diamond insurance........... good idea but I can get cheaper insurance elsewhere based on the fact that I am a good driver and not what sex I am.OK!!!
