AlanHo Posted September 19, 2008 Report Share Posted September 19, 2008 For Vista only......Right click in any blank space in the sidebarClick "Add Gadgets"At bottom right of window that opens click"Get more gadgets on line"If you have a widescreen monitor you might find it best to keep the sidebar visible at all times - in which case any programme you open will only occupy the remainder of the screen and not overlap the sidebar.To do this right click in any blank space in the sidebarClick "Properties"Tick "Sidebar is always on top...."There are several weather gadgets available - each has its own way of setting a default location. I have not yet found one that is all that reliable or informative for my town and no longer use a sidebar gadget hence cannot help you here.
