FYI: I read that Microsoft will restrict the download to the first 2.5 million users. :
Hb_Kai
I want to give it a shot actually! :)Apparentlly its Beta is only for use for 14 days which after that, it automatically deletes itself, or is that the developers edition? Hb_Kai
Not sure yet if it will install under Virtual PC.I don't know the difference between Virtual Machine software as I've used them only a few times but I found an article relating to installing Windows 7 in a Virtual Machine and thought since you said you didn't know about it, you may find it interesting. It's also a tutorial on how to do this using VMWare Player.Install Win 7 on VMWare Player

D4\/!d
I am thinking of having a play with this - not on my main PC, of course. If, on an ext hard drive, I make an Acronis Image of my XP Pro C:\drive and then format the c:\drive to clear it, can I then use this download to Install Win7.I think I need to put the ISO onto a DVD (a CD is too small). Is there a special way to copy the ISO to DVD so I can use the DVD as a setup disk. And when I have had enough of playing with Win7 can I then restore my image of XP Pro over Win7.Thanks,
