well apart from trusting and opening content sent to me by Redhat. The really stupid thing I was thinking about happened a few months ago. I was checking the car over... you know, water, top up the oil, tyre pressure etc etc. Went to the garage to fill up on petrol.... put the petrol in, went to go and pay for it, came back out and noticed a huge puddle of oil under my car and oil coming through the grill on the front ............ eeek!!!! So what did I do??? Panicked and got back in the car and drove home. Then I lifted the bonnet up and I had forgotten to put the oil cap back on!! :( Luckily the oil cap was still sitting on top of the engine where I had left it........... but boy oh boy... what a mess!!!!

Nellies car doesn't have a cat :o

but the occasional drop of 4* never harmed a cat anyway, there was a lot of hype in the motor trade early on regarding this.

A modern motor with a properly set up closed loop emissions system should pass our current MOT emissions test without the cat anyway

Hmmmmm something stoooooopid!????

Well, years ago before i'd got into this bodybuilding lark I'd joined my first 'REAL' gym, I was very self-conscious as there were LOADS of huge shredded bodybuilders so I started of warming up then went straight into bench presses, I loaded weights onto either side of the barbell, but because I was so nervous i forgot to put the caps on each end to secure the weights.......

so there I was, I lay down on the bench and started to lift the bar, I got to 3 repetitions and started to wobble..........all of a sudden the left side of the bar dipped, of came the weights, immediately throwing me to the right side as those weights dipped and came off!!!!! I ended up on the floor in a heap with all the weights and the empty barbel!!!!

EVERYONE stopped what they were doing and just stared!!!!!

I just grabbed my water bottle and legged it out! Never been back!

I've never been so embarrassed in my life!!!..well maybe my 18th birthday with the Stripper, whipped cream and a pub full of people....but thats a different kinda story!!!!! :D

Almost exactly what I did a couple of weeks ago, except that being male and therefor superior, when I spotted the oil slick I lifted up the bonnet. The oil cap had disappeared, but the RAC man knew exactly where to look for it on an awkward to get at ledge. I won't do it again.
