AlanHo Posted August 17, 2009 Report Share Posted August 17, 2009 During a recent trip to the city of bath I took quite a few photos.To photograph the Royal Crescent - and get most of it on record - it was necessary to pan the camera round and take 3 over-lapping shots. Printing these pictures and then glueing then together gave a flavour of the panorama - but the joints were distorted.A couple of years ago I owned a Canon digital SLR camera (now sold on Ebay) which came with Canon software called Photostitch. This program enabled you to stitch panoramic photos together to make a complete image - but I sold the software CD with the camera.Googling revealed that Microsoft have a free program download called Microsoft ICE that performs this function - it is every bit as good as the Canon program, in fact easier to use. Just save your overlapping photos to your hard drive, highlight them by ctrl right click in Windows Explorer and select "stitch Images" from the drop down menu.
