Firefox Hijacked? Virus?

I am using Windows 7, and Firefox 3.5.

My issue is when I do a google search, about 75% of the time I click on a search result link, instead of taking me to the result site, it redirects to some spam site, like "http://www.margaretsanger.com/search". This doesn't happen with every click, but most, like 75-80%. Also, the spam site is not the same, it's different and/or random.

I have ran AVG, TrendMicro Housecall (online version), HijackThis, & Spybot S&D, all latest versions. The virus scans found a couple things, which I fixed, but the problem still exists.

Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

If that doesn't fix it, try this

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Download, install and update it and do a full scan.

Remove whatever it finds.

This is completely free as long as you don't want to have its resident protection, which requires you to register it and pay.
