catgate Posted December 8, 2009 Report Share Posted December 8, 2009 A long long time ago I went, for some years, to what was then Bradford Technical College, and at the begining of each year there was the usual enrolment week.At the door of the Hall was an official who was directing students to the correct desk in the hall for their requirement. In front of me in the queue were two young ladies, who, when it was there turn said they were wanting to sign up for "book keeping". He told them he was sorry but he just could not help them. When they asked why he said, "Haven't you heard? There's no accounting for women!"Since that time I have often worried about about female book keepers loosing their figures.
