andsome Posted December 16, 2009 Report Share Posted December 16, 2009 After having more memory fitted combined with a BIOS update in order to have a better type of memory fitted yesterday, it has been suggested that I run MEMTEST. In fact the computer is noticeably better since the upgrade, what is the recommendation on here please? Alan2273 Posted December 16, 2009 Report Share Posted December 16, 2009 Unless you are having problems andsome I would not bother.But if you want to try, use Memtest and burn the ISO to a Cd then boot your computer of the CD.To do a thorough job you will have to run it for about 3 hours.
