Which media player do you use for audio? For video? Why do you like it?

(i know some options in poll are either sutiable for audio only or for video only, but I prefer to keep lists the same)

I am more than happy with WMP. I see little point in cluttering up the computer with other players.

I was happy with WMP version 7. Recent versions are too complex, so I use Media Player Classic, which looks and feels like WMP 7 :)

My favourite Audio player is not mentioned - hence I cannot vote for it.

It is the "His Masters Voice" gramophone. Even deaf dogs love it.

My second favourite is the old Dansette player - in a cream fleck textured case.

I personally consider that you could not have picked a worse time to organise an election. People are fed up with the prospect of voting.

Ive gone back to M$ and Im using ZUNE and I'm loving it .... I've got various Ipayers ....Dont get me wrong ... I still lurve the clip ...And my 30gb is attached to my bedside alarm clock ((pink floyd dark side of the moon ...you can guess which song)

But I player software is getting worse ,(DRM) especially transferring between two computers , and In order to get Album art you HAVE to give your credit card details to apple ...(no way)Also it doesnt need to consolidate on convert .... I consolidated one hard drive with I player once and it became an utter faff to copy again to a portable backup

Zune ... no problem ... Its not buggy ...and free album artwork and I really like the interface ...much better than apples effort

My next MP3/4 player is going to be a zune player
