Note the the disk you use must be the same version as the Product Key.There are no genuine ISO downloads and I think that real versions of XP on disk for purchase are becoming something of a rarity. But i not sure can i borrow cd...If you really find it impossible to borrow a CD, then any computer dealer can reinstall Windows for you if you provide the product key. catgate Posted June 12, 2010 Report Share Posted June 12, 2010 It seems to me that there are so many people coming on to WF trying to get round the problem of loosing their installation discs, that all one would need to do would be walk no more than 100yds down any road to find at least a couple of lost discs lying about. The world must be awash with them. This one has always had me surprised as well catgate. The solution to the problem is simple. You place your Disc(s) into a CD or DVD case, which one is doesn't matter, then store them in a CD/DVD unit similar to a storage unit you would put your Music CD's into.
