Behind the scenes, rather than truncating Gandalph's link as he observes, it is actually extending it as you can see in Example: 002 Some users now end up with a "link" rather than an "embedded video". The behaviour appears to be random from one user to the next. Example: 001 Shows what should be produced (behind the scenes) to allow an embedded YouTube video. Example: 002 Shows what is actually being produced (behind the scenes) randomly across "some" users when a YouTube link is posted. The red text in the photo shows the extraneous (and unwanted) information that is being added. Do I know why ? - No ! If the URL is shown in your theme’s link color (as the second line in the screenshot below), then it is hyperlinked.
