cinque8
I have a couple of programs that start up automatically when I start my computer. What is the command that you type in the Run box that brings up the form that contains all of the programs that start up automatically? Thanks! Alan2273
An easier way of seeing your start up programs is to download and install a small program called Crap cleaner , then go to tools on the menu and then click on Start up and that will show you, and you can disable any you want to.http://download.cnet.com/CCleaner/3000-2144_4-10547048.html

Anything extra is just clutter in my opinion.

I recommended CCleaner instead of msconfig because in my opinion it is easierto use than msconfig, and also has other good utilities and has a small footprint. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
msconfig is not the tool to make permanent changes to the startup list. CCleaner or Autoruns are far better for these kind of tasks.
bludgard
Autoruns has my vote for managing startup entries. Msconfig is a diagnostic tool; I think....
