Ex-Prime Minister Baroness Thatcher dies, aged 87

One of the great leaders of the twentieth century, no matter what you thought of her politics. In my opinion two good terms then she lost the plot completely.

I fully agree. Labour left the country in one hell of a mess, and she worked wonders for the first few years. The country was being controlled by the likes of Skargill and Red Robo. My brother in law worked in a car factory and very rarely did a full weeks work because of wild cat strikes, and yet even with that lot going on he was picking up far more money than anyone else in the family. Skargill held the country to ransom, again on the back of an undemocratic strike, he refused a ballot. There was even a death due to some of his thugs dropping rocks from a motorway bridge onto the cars of Nottingham miners who wanted to work. She completely lost the plot later on, especially with the poll tax. The main difference between people as far as I can see, is that the die hard leftists are absolutely bigoted in their outlook, and can see no good in the Tory's and no bad in Labour. At present even the most right wing of voters acknowledge what a pigs ear Cameron and Osbourne are making of things.
